"Way Down East" Silent Movie Screening with Jeff Rapsis

Join us for a very special screening of “Way Down East” (1920) with live accompaniment from Jeff Rapsis. “Way Down East” is a D.W. Griffith melodrama set in old New England. Starring Lillian Gish and Richard Barthelmes, it was one of the top-grossing films of the silent era! Jeff Rapsis is a writer/editor, educator, and also a composer and performer who specializes in creating live musical scores for silent film screenings.

Cost is $10 for MHA Members, $12 for general guests and includes refreshments.
