Mobile App

Visitors to the Millyard Museum can enhance their experience by using a new mobile tour app as they explore the museum. Built with technology provided by OnCell, a leader in the mobile app space for museums and destinations, the app allows visitors to learn about the history of Manchester and the people who have lived and worked there. The mobile tour consists of 18 different stops in the museum’s permanent Woven In Time exhibit. Each stop features original audio, historic imagery, and a written introduction, and goes beyond the information presented in the exhibit. The stops expand on one aspect of the story, providing detail that visitors wouldn’t otherwise learn about.

The app is available at millyard.oncell.com for viewing and visitors can use their personal smartphones and tablets onsite or from anywhere to access the content.
