Holiday Ornaments

Every year since 2002, the Manchester Historic Association produces an original limited edition brass-plated ornament that celebrates Manchester's history. These unique, detailed ornaments are handcrafted in the United States by the same company that makes the annual White House Holiday Ornament. They make perfect Christmas tree decorations or gifts for the holidays and for many other occasions.  Each comes in a decorative box. Visit the Museum Shop or call (603) 622-7531 to place an order to be shipped by mail. 

Ornaments can also be purchased online.  Please note a $5.00 shipping charge will be included. Additional fees may apply for international shipping.

Rock Rimmon

This ornament pays tribute to Rock Rimmon, an important Manchester landmark and arguably the city’s most recognizable geological feature.

Lincoln Monument - Central High School

2019 Ornament

This ornament features the Abraham Lincoln Monument in front of Manchester Central High School.  The statue was designed by sculptor John Rogers and dedicated in 1910.  


Victory Park

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, the 2018 ornament features the World War I or "Winged Victory" monument in Victory Park, designed by local sculptor Lucien Gosselin and erected in 1929.  


Amoskeag Millyard

The Amoskeag Millyard was constructed by the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company between 1838 and 1915, spanning both the east and west banks of the Merrimack River for more than a mile in the center of Manchester, NH. This ornament pays tribute to the history of the Millyard and features the Jefferson Mill clock tower, one of the prominent features of the Millyard, constructed in 1886.

This ornament depicts Elm Street as it used to look in the early 20th century; cobblestones, trolleys running down the road, and beautiful arched lights that were taken down around 1919.



Weston Observatory

This ornament features the Weston Observatory, a Manchester landmark built in 1896 in honor of James Adams Weston, a former Mayor of Manchester and Governor of New Hampshire.  The tower stands 66 feet tall, giving an exquisite view of Manchester and the surrounding areas from its observation deck.  

Carpenter Memorial Library

This ornament celebrates the centennial of the Carpenter Memorial Library building, a gift to the City of Manchester by Frank P. Carpenter as a memorial to his wife, Elenora Blood Carpenter.  The building was dedicated on November 18, 1914.
