Millyard Museum Hours

The Millyard Museum is open to the public year-round, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Manchester Historic Association members are admitted at no charge. Show your receipt from the Millyard Museum and get free admission to the MHA Research Center.

The museum is closed on some national holidays. Notice will be posted below regarding any planned closings. Please call (603) 622-7531 if you have any questions.

 The Millyard Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23

The Millyard Museum will be closed on Tuesday, December 26 in observance of Christmas

Please note: masks are optional at this time. Please do not visit the museum if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.

Directions

The Millyard Museum is located in Mill #3 in the historic Amoskeag Millyard. Take I-93 to I-293. From 293 North, take Exit 5 (Granite Street and Downtown). Turn right on Granite Street to the 1st set of lights and take a left onto Commercial Street. Mill #3 is on the right hand side about a block down, just past the intersection with Pleasant Street. The Millyard Museum is on the first floor, south end of the building. Please note: visitors should use the Commercial Street entrance.

Parking

Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the building in the front (200 Bedford Street) and rear (Commercial Street) sides of the building. On street metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding the building.

Discounted admission fees are available for groups and for clients and staff of social service agencies. Guided tours of the Millyard Museum for groups are also available for an additional fee. Reservations are required. Please call (603) 622-7531 for details.

Gallery Games

History can be a tough subject in which to get kids engaged. If you are planning on bringing young kids to the museum, use one of these games to make your visit fun and interesting for everyone! Print out a copy of the game to bring with you, or grab a copy from our front desk when you get here!

While planning your visit to the Millyard Museum, you may also want to plan a visit to the SEE Science Center, which is located in the same building on the fourth floor.
