Research Inquiry Request Form

Once we have received your research inquiry form, a staff member will review and respond to your inquiry; most will be answered within one week. A staff member will contact you by email to discuss your request and any associated fees.

Please describe you research topic in as much detail as possible. What specific questions can we help you answer? Please include specific dates, locations, or street addresses, full names and birth / death dates of persons of interest, and any other relevant details.

Research Fees

For those patrons who are unable to visit the Research Center, Manchester Historic Association staff is able to provide a research service at the following rates. We are not able to guarantee that we will be able to fully answer your query, but certainly will conduct a thorough search on your behalf.

First hour:
Free, plus cost of any copies (see below for copy prices)

Additional hours:
$15/hour for Manchester Historic Association members (includes up to 10 free copies) $20/hour for non-members (includes up to 10 free copies)

Exemptions:
Questions from the media and questions about specific holdings in our collection (“Do you have the XYZ Business Papers?”) are exempt from the fee.
